By default, MultiSearch will only deliver results that the Library owns or can provide full text access to.
Ticking the "Expand my results" option from the Refine My Results menu will bring back a list of results that exist outside the Library's collections.
Items that are found using the "Expand my results" option can then be requested by signing in to My Library and selecting the Document Delivery Request option.
